MONDAYS ARE JUNIOR GOLF DAYS AT GAIRLOCH GC.
Junior golf runs from 4:oo p.m. till 6:00 p.m. on Monday afternoons between 2nd May and 2nd October 2011. All junior members are welcome to attend. We run friendly competitions for those juniors who know how to play and provide lessons for beginners. The lessons run from 4:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. during term time, namely 2nd May to 27th June and 22nd August to 2nd October. During the holidays beginners can join in the friendly competitions to practice what they have learned.
We have a stock of junior golf clubs that junior members can borrow if they do not have their own clubs. We give priority to those taking lessons but there is usually enough for everyone. One or more coaches will be on hand to offer help and advice and to remind young golfers of what they have been shown in the golf lessons if need be.
We also run junior medal competitions once a month for those who want to take part. Those who do not want to take part in formal competitions can continue to play informal golf on these days.
